A regular exercise routine helps older adults maintain the ability to live independently: It reduces the risk of falling and fracturing bones. It helps them maintain a greater range of motion which is necessary for the performance of daily tasks at home. It prevents urinary incontinence and helps maintain a quicker pace of walking.

At Xercise Fitness and Wellness we offer 5 different exercise classes a week for women and 1 weekly class for men.
The 4 types of exercise recommended for older adults by U.S. National Institute on Aging are: Endurance, Strength, Balance and Flexibility. Our varied classes cover these four categories as well as bone-building exercise to prevent osteoporosis.
